The World makes the Money go around
A solid iron monolith, basically rectangular in shape and with a smooth surface, incorporates in the top corner a spherical bulging planet Earth which has a modelled textured surface. A slice of time perhaps! With the world frozen on its axis. Both surfaces are finished in the same natural oxidised patina.

Through the thick steel a gold coin has apparently punched a hole clean through and is now literally spinning in the wind* further around on its orbit. The flickering coin’s reflection may be picked up in the mirrored window behind.

The same principal as a revolving open/teas sign on the side of the road, spinning in the wind. The coin would be covered in gold leaf and in sharp contrast in both finish and character to the anchored solidity of the iron mass.
